Unspoilt and peaceful. Nanquidno is one of Penwith's sub-tropical valleys and it's filled with wildlife. It also offers superb cliff and coastal walking and is noted as a magnificent bird watching location. There's a rare tranquillity to the area. Experience naturally implanted trees (such as palm trees) that you wouldn't get to see anywhere else in the UK.
You could almost be in a secluded Mediterranean haven, the coastline is so spectacular. When nightfall arrives, marvel at the stunning sunset over the turquoise sea as basking sharks and dolphins await you. If you enjoy walking there are miles of scenic paths. In fact, Nanjulian is next to the longest public path in Britain stretching 500 miles in all.
We're tucked away at the bottom of the most South Westerly valley in Cornwall and hidden at the end of a country lane, surrounded by fields. We're 500 metres from stunning coastline and 5 minutes away from the little town of St Just, a heritage area that's part of a regeneration project. The seclusion allows for minimum pollution which means perfect sunsets and endless starry skies.
The panoramic views surrounding Nanjulian Farm will leave you speechless. Everything you need is close by but there are no noisy neighbours, and sometimes there aren't even any mobile phone signals. Step outside the door of your cottage into a land of tranquillity and unbelievable views. We're within easy reach of St Just Airport and golf, surfing, horse riding and beautiful beaches are right next door.
It really is up to you how you choose to pass the time. The inspirational setting is perfect for boosting creativity so maybe you want to relax and paint, draw, write or read. Alternatively, motivate yourself and the activities are endless in this place of local heritage and history. Visit the bird sanctuary, the butterfly conservatory, the mines or museums or put your walking boots on and explore one of the many coastal routes.
